i took these pictures in spite of my camera's insistent auto-ISO settings

still trying to get the hang of the new camera, which until now has been used explicitly for people-photos, pictures of the caribbean ocean (which is so beautiful you can't really mess it up) and drunken photos (which serve more than well enough to display how much of a suntan i didn't get in the caribbean). i messed with a few of the settings and i think i got at least a few decent shots.
the camera's really intense variant-ISO settings make taking pictures at night pretty awesome, but they make taking pictures in twilight a bit of an exercise in futility. at least so far.
