i'm trying to limit myself to five posts a day...as you can see, it's not working.
i've been playing the hell out of this song lately in the hopes of being able to play a ryan adams song other than "winding wheel" live, and i coincidentally came into a copy of a great, SUPER-high quality DVD of ryan and neal playing a few songs in a church in county kerry, ireland the other day...one of the songs, of course, being "let it ride". this might be my favorite version of the song, with the exception, perhaps, of a few really fast, full-band surf-rock versions. the rest of the songs from the performance appear to be up on youtube as well: "wildflowers", some banter about cher's ass, "two" and "when the stars go blue".
