as is often the case with my TV show obsessions, i find my fascination with dexter bleeding over into aspects of my life not directly related to sitting in front of the TV. for instance, i've started privileging the dexter morgan dress style on days that i don't have to teach. the weather lately is just about perfect for the long-sleeved but tighter-fitting three-button cotton shirt and a pair of mangy cargo-type pants or khaki not-slacks; it's warm enough when it's colder and ventilates well when it's hotter. and it's damn comfy when you're spending 12 hours straight in your office, or sleeping on your desk or in your clothes. or on your desk and in your clothes.
i've been such a jeans and button-shirt guy for the last year or two (even in summer) that it's a nice change.
i'm not sure while i'm blogging about this...
anyway, it's comfy. though it makes me want to break into somewhere (or at least sneak around) more than a little bit.
