okay, so i decided to start using dryer sheets today. and why? for the last...however many years since i was a kid i didn't buy dryer sheets because i figured the price of laundry detergent was enough by itself. however, yesterday i was at shopko and i noticed that you could get 120 downy dryer sheets for 6 dollars. now, at my current washing-machine-using rate (approx. one load every 2 weeks; i rewear pants a lot) i would use 120 sheets in approximately...five years. a dollar a year to have good-smelling clothes?
how did i never notice this before? god, i'm so fucking unsurvivably weird.
The good smell isn't the best part... it's the decreased tendency of your clothes to be wrinkly and stiff and nasty.
