discography (repost/repaired)

everything's fixed and good and magical. now then.

so, i've decided to officialize my discography thus far, partly as an exercise in putting all my eggs in one basket, and partly in preparation for attempting to move on to some new and potentially exciting things...my hope is that in some weird, OCD way, consolidating all of this stuff together will make it easier to stop sort of tinkering around with it in lieu of actually writing and thinking and playing and singing new things. this is step one of three in the process...though i suppose the hypothetical step four would be me actually writing new stuff. expect steps two and three in the reasonably near future (hopefully by the end of next weekend, but right now i'm not holding my breath). soon.

anyway, i'm making available again via bittorrent (and for a limited time once they're uploaded, on sendspace for those of you who don't use bittorrent) my entire discography.

i'll also be emailing people who i think might be interested in this directly, so some of you might get double-messaged. sorry. but i'm excited. perhaps most exciting of all, you'll notice the new recording i made with andrea over break up for the first time. this came out really really well so download it. she's got a new album coming up soon and she's fucking badass and a much better performer than me and an inspiring musician. so make with the clicky.

lastly, if anyone has trouble with any of these torrents, please let me know somehow. i'm fairly inexperienced with making my own torrents and i don't want these to not work and then not know they're not working. keep in mind also that if you go the sendspace route (normal download) that these links will expire soon, so get them now rather than later.

things you may need after downloading any of the torrents/sendspace links:

1. a way to play .flac files. winamp plays flac files, as do a lot of other popular PC media players. windows media player and itunes do not. in which case...

2. you can convert these files from .flac to .wav or .mp3 using a program called "trader's little helper", which you can get by typing that into google.

3. if you really, really want this in a different format and you really, really have no idea how to make that happen, let me know. i have the file-converting equivalent of a swiss army knife on my computer(s) and can probably get you whatever you want. i prefer .flac because it's small and lossless, but i realize that some people might have trouble playing it.

4. you'll also need a way to unzip the files if you download at the sendspace links instead of bittorrent. type "winrar" into google and download that if for some reason your computer doesn't automatically give you an option to unzip the downloaded files.

5. each directory contains the audio files, a playlist file, a text file with album information, and a .jpg for cover art. all the .flac files are tagged with any and all useful tag info, but i did all the tagging, etc. using winamp. i can't guarantee that it'll all register if you convert to .mp3 or use a program other than winamp (though my suspicion is that it will).

6. if anyone just wants a CD of anything, also let me know and i'll send you one.
