- in addition to getting a quick wave from the band last night as they came into the theatre for soundcheck, i ran into ryan outside the paramount tonight, having a smoke. i didn't really do much more than say "hey", linger around for a minute, and then go inside, but it was a total geek-out moment for me. i was going to go up and try to actually talk to him or something, but it was one of those weird moments where i felt guilty about assaulting him when he was most likely just trying to relax for a minute, and so i largely let him off the hook :)
- he dedicated "everybody knows" to RAA.com
- he also took time during the show to direct and film a youtube video using us, the crowd, as his actors
- come pick me up. that is all.

- down in a hole acoustic
- and incredible easy plateau (maybe even better than last night) with another wild feedback jam, which ended with ryan on the floor with his guitar, possibly in an homage to the night's AMAZING tour poster, which i just had to buy a copy of despite the fact that i'm now poor as fuck:
it's been a great ride. more, possibly coherent thoughts later, but let me just say that if these guys are touring this summer i may be willing to sell blood plasma or nonvital organs to secure tickets and safe passage. i didn't think i could like this band more than i already did. i was wrong.
